QA ENGINEER
Primary Responsibilities
We are seeking an intelligent and highly-motivated QA Engineer who will be responsible for creating, implementing and automating testing for applications. The QA Engineer will design, document and implement test plans for products / consulting projects, report and manage defects, assist with replicating and debugging problems and develop test automation solutions. Some of the QA responsibilities will include:
1. Document issues with environments in our knowledge base Create and maintain documentation for QA procedures.
2. Manage all issues in issue tracking system, triage bug reports and even fix easy bugs.
Qualifications Required
1. BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical training and professional work experience. In-depth, professional experience developing Java applications.
2. In depth knowledge of standard web technologies, including app servers, web servers, relational databases, browsers, etc.
3. Minimum of 2 years experience as a software QA engineer.
4. Extensive background in solid test coverage of complex commercial Enterprise Web applications.
5. Background in QA methodologies, and developing and executing test suites.
6. Working knowledge of server-side Java API's and applications, and other relevant technical areas (SQL, LDAP, etc.).
7. Knowledge of unit testing tools, including JUnit and Ant (run JUnit and JUnitReport tasks)
